Long company names get cut off on the board → read every title at a glance

• Scenario: a trading and logistics company whose clients have long legal names
• Data: a demo Kommo account with made-up data, no real customer information. This is an illustration, not the story of a named client

What goes wrong

Trading and logistics companies often work with clients such as “Northern Transcontinental Trading and Global Merchant Logistics Company Ltd”. Kommo keeps cards compact, so on the kanban board it shows a title on a single line and ends it with “…”. A manager scanning the board runs into three problems:

• “Northern Trading Company…” hides the part that matters: this lead is an invoice request with a payment deferral
• Two leads with the same company start identically (“Blackwood Harrington — annual freig…”), and the part that tells them apart is cut off
• The company name under the contact is clipped in the middle of the line

To read the full text, the manager has to open the card. With a few dozen leads on the board, that is dozens of extra clicks every day.

What you can do with Text wrapping

Install Text wrapping by Ruta and switch on the places you need in the widget settings:

1. Kanban cards. Card titles, company and contact names, fields and tags wrap onto new lines.
2. Lists. Table cells, column headers and stage labels wrap in the same way.
3. Lead, contact and company cards. Card titles, field names and values show in full.

After pressing Save, reload the page: the switches apply only after a reload.

You don't change the pipeline, the fields or the lead titles. The widget changes only how the text is displayed, and the fields stay editable in place.

What you can get

Same board, before and after:

• No title ends in “…”. “Northern Trading Company Ltd — invoice request with payment deferral” is readable on the card itself.
• Similar leads are easy to tell apart. The full title, including the quarter and shipment details, is visible without opening anything.
• Company names are no longer clipped. The long name is shown in full above the lead title.
• Cards are taller. This is the trade-off: wrapped cards take more vertical space, so fewer of them fit on the screen at once. If that matters for a very busy pipeline, switch wrapping off for the kanban and keep it for lists and cards.

The widget is free for the whole team and runs only in the browser, so there is nothing to roll out beyond the switches.
